Who are we indeed?

Let’s start with Basics…

My name is RavenSong, my last name isn’t so important.  I live in California with my 3 Kitties, Shasta Pretty Girl and Ying-Yang.  I live alone at the moment, but am suppose to have a roommate at some point.  I have no cable tv, can’t afford it.   I recently moved to where I am now, after a very horrible time in my life during June, July and August 2009.  I will talk about that in my posts.  I live a simple life, doing what I enjoy, when my depression hasn’t got a hold of me, which is most of the time.    Thankfully I have been able to work through alot of what has happened to me without help, only because no one was willing to listen.  Unless I was bleeding or suicidal, counseling here is non existent. I do know that I still have a long way to go to healing.

I am 42 years old, have given birth to 2 children by C-Section,the oldest I gave for adoption when he was 3 days old.  My youngest will be 21 soon.

I am a BBW woman with green eyes that change color with mood, and very very long hair that is brunette.  I have 7 tattoos, all upper body.  I am currently single, hoping to find that special someone who won’t turn out to be a total selfish, full of shit, only cares about himself, treats women like crap SOB.

I’M OK ALONE… I DO NOT WANT SOMEONE IN MY LIFE.

I would rather be alone than deal with the drama and bullshit that goes along with dating and trying to develop a relationship with someone who in the end will only hurt me anyway.  So it’s a pointless thing to try.  I also need to focus on healing myself before I could give anything to anyone anyway.

I am extremely crafty in many things.  I have done Beadwork for more than 30 years.  I have experience with many styles and techniques.  I have also done silk ribbon embroidery, regular embroidery, Cross Stitch, hand quilting, machine quilting, paper scrapbooking(which has turned into digital scrapbook creating), candle making, leather carving, painting, sewing, clothing making, and probably others I can’t think of at the moment.

Those are my passions at the moment.

I am the kind of person who would give a friend my last dollar if they needed it, and I have.  I have given people things I had, they needed only because I didn’t have a need for them any longer, no money involved.  Why charge someone when they can’t afford it?  I respect people and treat them the way I want to be treated.  I help others when I can, and most times I get shit on.  Sadly that’s how most people are.  Probably why I have very few friends offline, or even online for that matter.  I help others, and a lot of times get no thanks in return.  But it’s OK… I do it because I know its important to help.  I don’t really do it for anything expected in return but a simple thank you or great job..
